ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Michael Cader is the founder of Publishers Lunch, PublishersMarketplace.com, the Buzz Books preview/sampler line, and Publishers Launch Conferences, among other things. He was also a longtime book packager through Cader Books, which created and produced hundreds of books and calendars including bestsellers from Saturday Night Live and Who Wants to be a Millionaire, original titles including Brush Up Your Shakespeare! and What to Expect When Your Wife Is Expanding, and branded books ranging from the long-running People Almanac to books with CNBC, Lassie, and ABC television. He packaged books until the first internet bubble, when suddenly it turned out he was a content producer. Previously, Cader had a job in the 1980s at Workman Publishing, where he acquired, edited, and formatted the Book of Questions series.
