Presenters

Kelli Chipponeri is the Founder & Creative Director of Green Typewriter Creative, ABPA Board Member, and Social Media Committee Chair. She has more than 20 years of experience managing profitable businesses at medium to large publishers, focusing on developing and implementing successful children’s series, franchises, and licensing programs. Her clients include Chronicle Books, Insight Editions, Walter Foster Jr., Room to Read, David Zwirner Books, and The Children’s Reading Foundation.

Leslie Jonath is the founder and principal of Connected Dots Media and long-standing ABPA member. Her thirty-year career spans book publishing, creative services, and media business development, as well as writing and agenting. She works on custom, hybrid and traditional projects with publishers including Chronicle Books, Ten Speed Press, Andrews McMeel, Running Press, Quarto, Abrams, and many others. She also consults with creatives and brands across several categories, from arts organizations and museums to chefs, floral designers, artists, and makers. 

Tim Palin is a Boston/NYC-based creative specializing in Art Direction, Design, Production, Photography, and Illustration. His clients include Scholastic Inc., Penguin Random House, duopress, The Book Shop, Ltd (for Race Point Publishing, Sterling Innovation, Thunder Bay Press), Print Matters Productions (Lonely Planet Kids), Cardinal Rule Publishing, Sparkhouse (Capstone Publisher, Little Bee/BuzzPop/Yellow Jacket), Albert Whitman & Co, Gakken, and Free Spirit Publishing. He joined the ABPA under its new affiliate member program in 2020.

Jasmine Barta is a former journalist and current website designer, social media marketer, and event planner for authors, small businesses, and nonprofits around the world. Her other services include branding, creative consulting, website management, graphic design, book marketing, social media and Google ads, PR/publicity, and content writing. She also manages social media efforts on behalf of the ABPA.
