Our Guests

Brooke Perkins has been at Hinkler for almost 5 years now as director of sales and product development for North America. She sells Hinkler’s existing list and also creates new ideas and formats for North America retailers, and also packages for publishers. She has been in the publishing industry for almost 18 years. She started her career as an assistant editor at a coloring book company, Modern Publishing, then moved to Simon & Schuster as an editor in their licensed publishing division and then to Kidsbooks. Before coming to Hinkler, she was the director of product development for Parragon’s kits and gift division.

Jennifer Bilos is Hinkler’s publishing director. She is responsible for leading the development of high quality IP and brands for Hinkler. Through leadership of the creative development process she works with the Melbourne studio team to develop and enhance key brands. She also works with the team on budgets and matching the right talent to the right project. In addition, Jenny works closely with the Hinkler Product Manager UK to draw meaningful market intelligence about the UK, Ireland and Co-editions business to assist in product development and general UK strategy.
