Please join us as we welcome Catherine (Cat) Onder, Sourcebooks’ new vice president and publisher of children’s books. Cat will bring us up to speed on some very exciting developments in their growing children’s division. Sourcebooks is one of the nation’s leading independent publishing companies, with an always innovative approach to getting wonderful books into the hands of a wide range of readers.

Who You’ll Meet

Catherine Onder: Cat has more than two decades of experience in children’s publishing, most recently as senior v-p and publisher of HMH Books for Young Readers, and before that as editorial director at Bloomsbury Children’s Books.

At Sourcebooks, Cat works with the editorial, marketing, and sales teams to grow the company’s children’s and YA brands, including the How to Catch series by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton; Chris Ferrie’s Baby Universe books; and the work of Bill Cotter, Sandra Magsamen, Marieke Nijkamp, and Marianne Richmond. She will also partner with Sourcebooks’ marketing and digital departments to help lead the further expansion of the internal packaging group.
