Please join the American Book Producers Association for a special ABPA Industry Insider event with Publishers Weekly guests Cevin Bryerman, CEO/Publisher, and Jim Milliot, VP and Editorial Director, on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 5:30-6:30 pm ET (2:30 pm-3:30 pm PT). 

PW’s Jim Milliot has shared some lively insights about how the pandemic impacted our industry and ways publishers and booksellers have responded at ABPA Happy Hours.

On Tuesday, April 12th, at 5:30 p.m. ET, Jim and will host an Industry Insider event with Cevin Bryerman will share further insights into the state of book publishing as we’re slowly emerging from this long pandemic. We’ll also get a preview of the 2022 US Book Show sponsored by PW, which will be held live online on May 23–26. They’ll also discuss PW’s exciting, much-anticipated upcoming 150th year anniversary.

Cevin has been at Publishers Weekly for 35 years, and prior to that in the magazine publishing industry working at the helm of both trade and consumer magazines in strategic planning, business development and strategic partnerships

Jim Milliot, Editorial Director of Publishers Weekly 

Jim has been at Publishers Weekly for more than 25 years. He edits news on mergers, acquisitions, and financial performance for the weekly magazine and for the PW Daily online newsletter. His reporting and insights into the changing publishing industry are often quoted in the media, and he regularly appears on book industry panels.

Chris Navratil, moderator: Chris has been an independent book producer for three years, and prior to that he worked in the book publishing industry for more than 25 years.
