Meet the Experts

Andrew Clarke is President of Asia Pacific Offset, Inc. Established in 1997, Asia Pacific Offset is a print management company with sales offices in New York, San Francisco, Washington, DC, London, Barcelona and Sydney; and production offices in Hong Kong and Shenzhen. Previously Andrew worked as a Director of Sales for Mandarin Offset. He emigrated from Ireland to the USA in 1991, and lives in Washington, DC.

Richard Burgess spent his formative working years located in overseas printers, specializing in complicated book manufacturing, from simple board books to complicated pop-ups. Then, at Scholastic, he managed their novelty book production and sourced tchotchkes for book-plus titles. With his sanity still relatively intact, he left the rigors of corporate publishing to establish his own consultancy, Impression, which brokers print production and project management for large and small publishers alike, manufacturing novelty books for publishers such as Simon & Schuster and Penguin Random House, and project manages for packagers such as The Book Shop, Ltd. He has two cats.
