PANELISTS

 

Steve Osgoode is a co-founder of The Story Division (TSD), a licensing and packaging agency developing publishing products for major entertainment partners. TSD works across formats with a specialization in graphic novels and audio packages. Notable collaborations include projects with Simon & Schuster, Random House, Little Brown, Andrews McMeel, Abrams Books, and Nickelodeon. Before TSD, Steve served as the President & Publisher of Joe Books Ltd, an independent publisher with licensing relationships with Disney, NBC-Universal, and CBS Consumer Products. Over 16 years, he also held various roles at HarperCollins in Toronto, overseeing digital and consumer products, including the launch of HarperAudio Canada and the Harper Podcast Network.

Throughout his three-decade career, Jody Colero has collaborated with celebrities, public figures, and personalities while working on projects for major entities such as Netflix, Amazon Studios, CBS, NBC-Universal, Audible, Discovery Network, among others. In recent years, working with The Story Division as a partner, Jody has shifted his focus towards story-based audio productions, including audiobooks, podcasts, and radio plays, featuring noted talents such as Canada’s Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, Eli Roth, Sarah Polley, Margaret Atwood, Alec Baldwin, Ken Dryden, Kiefer Sutherland, Donald Sutherland, Tommy Lee Jones, and many, many more. Jody’s work has earned multiple awards and accolades, including being voted as the top audio production house in Canada three times.

 

Asha Dillion is an audio producer and music supervisor who calls Toronto, Canada her home. Her extensive background in music and audio production for long-format content has allowed her to further develop her craft from a creative, technical and production standpoint while remaining in service to each project’s story. Asha’s portfolio includes everything from in-studio audio work to collaborating directly with sound designers, composers, musicians, and production teams to create sonic experiences that leave a lasting impact on audiences worldwide. Her most recent credits include: The Game Show Show (ABC), Shelved (BellMedia), Canada’s Drag Race (Crave/BellMedia), Vikings: Valhalla (Netflix), My Little Pony: Make Your Mark (Netflix), My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale (YouTube) and This Being Human Podcast (Antica Productions.)

 

Steffie Davis is an experienced editor and project manager who specializes in translating world-recognizable properties into bestselling publishing products. Her editorial experience and  expertise in liaising with key licensors have led to the creation of innovative brand expansions, including a major pop star’s middle grade graphic novels, innovative audio content featuring top personalities, and adaptations of top franchises. Steffie has managed dozens of projects from conception through every stage of development for Disney, Pixar, Marvel, NBC-Universal, Nickelodeon, and more, and has overseen book packages for partners including PRH/M&S, Abrams, Scholastic, Target, and Costco.
